Q. How tight is tight?

A. After you have turned the horse once each way, as per instructions, pull down the handle until it doesn't go anymore. The head sets the final pressure. Depress and slide the RED BUTTON up against the top pulley the second time. Don't forget to blow on their nose and rub their forehead.

Q. Can I leave The Stableizer® on longer than 15 minutes?

A. Absolutely. Just depress the red button and you may continue use for an extended time.

Q. Can I ride with The Stableizer® on?

A. Certainly. See photos in the Uses section of the web site. Remember The Stableizer® always goes over any equipment. It must be adjusted properly to work properly and the right size for the right horse.

Q. I have several different breeds of horses, what size do I need?

A.
Foals, weanlings and small yearlings take small (blue).
Large yearlings, 2 year olds, and most mature horses in the sport breed take medium (yellow).
Warm bloods and regular sized draft horses take large (red).
Drafts over 2000lbs. take extra large (orange).

Q. I just received my Stableizer®. I put the red button all the way to the handle and it still doesn't fit, what now?

A. Read the instructions on adjustment, page 3 of the brochure sent with The Stableizer®. Or click on the How It Works page and look at the "Components" diagram. Letter "H" is the adjustment Ferrule to make The Stableizer® longer or smaller. Follow instructions from there. Also can see Online Instructions.

A. There is no comparison to a twitch, "lip chain", or any device that has a "chain" over the gum!!
